Rambling about soccer: LA Galaxy, IF Elfsborg, Falkenbergs FF, Liverpool FC, Queens Park Rangers, and LAFC. Also random rambling about Star Trek, LA sports (Dodgers, UCLA, Kings, Lakers, Rams), politics (centrist), faith (Christian), and life. Send comments to rrblog[at]yahoo[dot]com.
Non-profit of the month: May 2012 - Ligonier Ministries
When I go for walks or ride the exercise bike, I like to take the iPod shuffle along to listen to something. I find myself often loading up podcasts from Ligonier Ministries.
The group got its name from its original founding as a Christian study center in Ligonier Valley in Pennsylvania.
The main content provider is RC Sproul.
Since he is getting quite old, the organization has been adding materials from other teachers as well.
In today's world where it is easy to think, new must always be better than old and novel is always more useful than traditional, it is reassuring to know there are groups like Ligonier that teach the straightforward truths of the Bible.
